More than 4,000 years ago, the Kingdom of Yam was renowned among the Pharaohs and elites of Ancient Kemet for its wealth of valuable goods
and skilled warriors. This relationship was epitomized when the Pharoah of Kemet sent Harkuf, his Military Governor, upstream the Nile River to
establish trade routes with Yam. These links fortified Kemet’s prosperity and security, as Yam’s resources and warriors became instrumental to
Kemet’s economy and defense of its borders against intruders.
